| Objective | | To develop a unique cooler to help fair goers carry home the world famous Wisconsin State Fair cream puffs in their 6-pack box. | | | Challenges | | 1. | | The cream puffs needed to stay "refrigerator" cold for hours in high heat. | | 2. | | The cooler need to match the custom box in which they sold their 6-packs of cream puffs. | | 3. | | The cooler needed to be cost effective. | | 4. | | The cooler needed to be put into place pre-frozen and there wasn't room to freeze thousands of coolers. |
| | | Solution | | For this program, Maranda Enterprises developed a custom Flexi-Freeze cooler the same shape as the six pack carton. The artwork on the carton was duplicated with four color silk screening on five panels of the cooler. To facilitate pre-freezing, we produced a set of two custom sized Flexi-Freeze Re-freezable ice sheets that were removable from the cooler. The ice sheets were frozen separately from the cooler and combined at the point of sale to help customers safely transport their prized cream puffs. |
